I am Clare Allington, a designer and dressmaker from West Sussex. I have a first class honors degree in Fashion Design from Southampton Solent University and many years of experience. Whether you are looking for a bespoke wedding dress, occasionwear or an alteration to an existing garment you’re in the right place.

From my studio based in Bosham I cover a wide area across West Sussex and Hampshire. On request I can provide home visits throughout the area including; Chichester, Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield, Midhurst, Bognor Regis, Selsey, West Wittering, Worthing, Arundel, Pulborough and Storrington.

Originally from the little village of Barnham I was taught to sew by my mother from a really young age. I made my first outfit aged 9 and haven’t really stopped sewing since. From an artistic family I never considered any other career and I absolutely love what I do.

I teach a variety of sewing workshops for adults and children from Sew Creative in Petersfield and provide one-to-one tuition privately on request.
